2026 changes

: promotion-readiness and evidence revision

  • Made the joint Clarke–Lancaster origins of the field immediately visible on the homepage and history page.
  • Added a concise account of the founding research programme and Robert Clarke’s specific investigative contribution.
  • Corrected and standardised the selected bibliography, supplied missing DOI links, corrected the Ontario policy-paper attribution and extended the public selection through 2026.
  • Added measurement guardrails for the original 12.3% result and clarified that the 2006 origin paper has no publisher DOI.
  • Replaced secondary legal references with TEQSA, Federal Register and Federal Court sources and distinguished the 2026 civil penalty outcome from criminal prosecution.
  • Expanded humans.txt and llms.txt with provenance, attribution and responsible-reuse guidance.
  • Added repository contribution rules, review guidance and an automated static-site quality check.

: navigation and citation revision

  • Added a persistent theme control to the top navigation on every page.
  • Added page-specific citation guidance and a prominent citation link to each substantive page.
  • Standardised the footer and simplified the homepage around clear routes to the detailed pages.
  • Corrected the 2006 presentation detail and linked the 2014 MyMaster entry to the original Sydney Morning Herald investigation.

: 20th-anniversary rebuild

  • Rebuilt the site as a 2026 primer and research collection.
  • Added dedicated history, Robert Clarke, selected papers, and media and policy pages.
  • Published the rebuilt collection with source-linked history, research, media and policy material.
